Whether it’s stretch marks, acne marks, or different injuries, having scars on the face or on the body is never very aesthetic. But if time has left its marks on your skin, know that all is not lost! With a few natural tips and a bit of patience, you will quickly find clear and smooth skin… let’s go!
Prevent the appearance of scars
The most useful way to reduce scars is still to do everything so that they do not occur!
On a daily basis, be sure to nourish and moisturize your skin deeply: it will tend to mark less smoothly.
Massaging your body with shea butter or a rich oil (argan, almond, avocado, olive) will maintain skin elasticity and stimulate cell regeneration. Acne scars, on the other hand, will set in less efficiently if you treat your face with healing and regenerating vegetable oils, adjusted to your skin type.
Treat wounds as soon as possible
Baking Soda
If there is a wound, that does not necessarily imply that there will be a scar. Provided you treat your injury as quickly as possible.
After having cleaned and dried it well, make a baking soda bath: mix 10g of baking soda with 100ml of water.
Pour a little of this solution directly on your wounds, leave on for 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. To renew 2 to 3 times per week. Emollient, baking soda will control the crust from forming too fast and thus sidestep an ugly puffy scar.
Cider Vinegar
If the crust has already formed, you can always act by applying a mixture of cider vinegar (5ml) and water (50ml) on it using a cotton swab, leave to act for 20 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. This will prevent the formation of scars. Repeat morning and evening until the crust falls off.
Essential Oils
For acne marks, you can replace this formula with essential oil of tea tree, fine lavender, or even honey, which will speed up the healing process while eliminating bacteria. Italian helichrysum essential oil, on the other hand, allows you to obtain a “beautiful” scar, by limiting the overproduction of tissue.
Apply a pure drop on a cotton swab, and leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing.

Reduce existing scars
Are your scars red and/or pink? It’s not too late: you can still make them disappear completely! On the other hand, if they are white, it will be necessary to show patience and perseverance. Indeed, if nothing is lost, however, it may take you some time.

Vegetable Oils
In both cases, your best allies will be vegetable oils:
– Coco: healing, regenerating, antibacterial, nourishing, and moisturizing
– Avocado: very rich, it is also very nourishing, regenerating, and moisturizing
– Musk Rose: known for its healing and regenerating properties
– Hazelnut: antioxidant, rich in vitamin E, it eliminates stretch marks in particular
Mix them with a little aloe vera gel (healing, regenerating, and soothing), add 1 drop of Helichrysum Italian Essential Oil (optional) and you have a perfect healing serum to spread directly to your scars.
Make your homemade serum against scars
In a clean pump bottle, combine the following ingredients:
– 50ml of aloe vera gel
– 50ml vegetable oil of your choice (avocado, rosehip, hazelnut, coconut…)
– 10 drops of EO of fine lavender
– 10 drops of vitamin E
Apply morning and evening, massaging well on the scars to be treated. Keep your bottle in for 1 to 2 months maximum in the refrigerator.
